Yes, I totally got the idea of my title from Christian Bautista's CD! I am not a fan but I do know his CD's title. Anyway, honestly, I do not know how my title will relate to my entry.
I mentioned a few days (or is it weeks already?) ago that I must strengthen my placement for some notes. Miraculously enough, I got the hang of practicing and I consciously make efforts to correct myself. I am still working on muscle memory but I can say that I have improved on that part.
My new/added mission now is curving the dome up and sounding forward. This will be hard because of all the insecurities and silent rooms! Again, I must consciously yawn before every note (especially the high ones) to prepare the placement and keep it there. Will start tomorrow and continue until I get it!
On a different note, my teacher suggested that I should have my voice checked. I still have that hoarse speaking voice and the singing voice becomes affected at some points too, I guess. I wish she would tell me directly and precisely what she thinks. I do hope that the doctor will not tell me to stay away from all the culinary joys of my life again if the hoarseness is caused by acid! But hey, I might feel bad at the start but deep inside, I would gladly give up the food if I could have a better voice.
